It is relatively important for me to have a conceptual framework to build my work around. Growing up in Calgary has exposed me not only a metropolitan city that is set at the foothills of the Canadian Rocky’s but to huge vistas of prairie farmland. With the title “Plain Simple” my stencil work may have become smaller but seems to pack a big punch set against the palette knife skies of the prairies. Welcome to “Plain Simple”.
